The Fowl Stuff Nest Box is a quick and easy "anywhere" solution for nesting hens. It can be fastened to any wood wall, at any height, making it the perfect solution for designing your own custom nesting area. Easy to clean and sanitize, this box is sure to keep your hens happy and secure.The single hole nest box securely fastens to a wooden wall using screws and fender washers supplied with this “complete” heavy-duty unit.  No additional bracing or supports are required or recommended.  The 6” opening in the cover is large enough for most chickens and it may be increased to 8” for heavy breeds, if needed.  In some climates vent holes may be beneficial.  They can be added as needed.  There is also an alternate installation plan that allows for vent holes in the back. Fowl Stuff offers high quality nest boxes without high prices that are the perfect solution to providing ideal nesting facilities for urban and rural chickens in coops and tractors.  These nest boxes were designed by a chicken farmer with many decades of time spent with the birds and understanding both what hens want in a nest box and what is best for the hens.  Every detail concerning the Fowl Stuff nest box was designed the way it was for a purpose and reevaluated over and over before a mold was made to produce the parts.  The Fowl Stuff nest box is perhaps the least expensive one on the market, but at the same time it is the best!
