Paired with a1611 Universal/Chicken Egg Turner, this unit can safely and effectively incubate up to 42 eggs of just about any size, from partridge up to duck eggs, without manual turning needed! Since eggs need to be turned several times a day to prevent the sticking of yolk and to exercise the embryo, this is by far the most time-consuming part of incubating when done manually. We are able to offer this item to you at a lower cost than many of the circulated air incubators because it uses a wafer-style thermostat rather than a digital thermostat, and features two small windows rather than one large window, resulting in lower cost without compromising egg viewing. The wafer thermostats are easy to use, and dependable. The circulated air feature means that you are able to hold a more consistent temp throughout your incubator regardless of the outside conditions. Therefore, there will be fewer instances of hot or cold spots, and that your heater will work more efficiently. This adds up to better hatch rates, the ultimate goal in incubating.
